Look out the window and you can tell right away this isn't just "bad weather." Shrouded Sky lands on February 24, 2026, and the Rust Belt turns into a straight-up hurricane zone. If you're already planning a run, you'll probably be tweaking your kit after a quick skim of ARC Raiders Items, because this storm changes what "safe" even means. Sightlines vanish, gusts shove you off angles you normally hold, and those Tubes feel like they're one surge away from becoming a watery trap. You step topside and it's loud, messy, and stressful in the way only this game can be.

Storm Runs and Real Risk
The upside is obvious: the storm's dug up old First Wave Raider Caches that have been buried forever. People are gonna chase them. You will too, once you hear the first squad bragging in the hub. But the route matters more now. Stick to cover, cut across when the wind lets you, and don't get stubborn when the fog eats your usual landmarks. Half the time the environment will be the thing that tags you first—debris, bad footing, sudden flooding—then the machines finish the job. Greed's fine, just don't let it drive.

Shani's Weather Project
Shani's pushing a Weather Monitoring System, and it's not just flavor text. It's a reason to go topside with a plan, not a vibe. You'll be hunting specific parts, and it forces you into corners you might normally ignore. Expect other players to camp the obvious scav spots, too. A lot of folks will rush objectives and panic when the wind shifts; you can punish that by playing slower, listening, and moving when they move. The rewards are nice, but the bigger win is getting ahead of the next storm cycle instead of being surprised every time.

New ARC Threats
The new ARC enemies don't feel like reskins. The Firefly is airborne, armored, and way too happy to paint an area with flame. If you try to ego-challenge it in the open, you'll get cooked. Break line of sight, force it to commit, and use angles like you're fighting a turret that can drift. The Comet is different pressure—small, roaming, and it wants you to hesitate. It locks on, then turns itself into a blast you can't "tough out." Spot it early, call it out, and don't bunch up with your team.

Deck Rewards and New Zones
The Surgeon Raider Deck is a quieter kind of flex. You earn Cred by landing specific feats, and it actually makes you play cleaner—more deliberate shots, fewer sloppy peeks. The Jekyll/Hyde choice is a fun touch, and yeah, facial hair is finally here: stubble's easy, the full beard and thick 'stache are something you'll grind for. Also, don't sleep on the Dam Battlegrounds Controlled Access Zone; the security's mean, but the loot's the sort that changes your next ten runs, especially if you're building around ARC Raiders gear and want a real edge before the weather turns again rsvsr ARC Raiders Coins.
